Scouts help Beavers make and fly kites |
||||||||
|
In May two Nailsworth Scouts, Patrol Leaders Tom and Josh, enjoyed helping the Beaver Scouts make kites, and then a few weeks later to fly their kites on Minchinhampton Common. The kites were made from thin 'green sticks' usually used to support potted house plants, and plastic sheet. The evening selected for kite flying was blessed with a steady light wind and warm sunshine. The event was so popular it was hard to persuade some of the Beaver Scouts that it was time to go home at the end of the evening! |
