Camping has always been an important part of Scouting, and Nailsworth Scouts have been camping during every month of the past year. Last summer older members of the troop enjoyed a summer expedition to Austria, backpacking along the Alps, while this year they are going hiking in the Swiss Alps. In June 2010 Scouts will be spending four days at the Water Activities Centre at Longridge (Marlow) which is always a popular annual event, as is Winter Christmas Camp and Winter Camp, week long summer camp in Herefordshire and many more smaller camps as well.

Troop Meetings also provide a wide range of activities and events, while events at District and County level add yet more opportunities for Scouts to enjoy themselves with their friends, and maybe try something new.
