Camping has always been an important part of Scouting, and Nailsworth Scouts have been camping during every month of the past year. This summer older members of the troop enjoyed a summer expedition to Austria, backpacking along the Alps. Earlier in the year four days at the Water Activities Centre at Longridge (Marlow) was very popular, as were Winter Christmas Camp and Winter Camp, week long summer camp in Wales and many more smaller camps as well.

Troop Meeting also provide a wide range of activities and events, while events at District and County level add yet more opportunities for Scouts to enjoy themselves with their friends, and maybe try something new.
